Red Cross Blood Drive Most Successful
Yet
Jula Galvin The blood drive held Monday Nov 15, was a very successful
event due to the hard work of the Regis National Honor Society members.
These students recruited volunteers to donate blood, coordinated paperwork
beforehand so check in went smoothly and helped give snacks in the “canteen”
to those who had donated. The leadership team included Kayla Dolby, Dru
O'Bryant, Vicki Webb, and Ashley Burns, but all members helped the event
run smoothly. We would like to thank those students and community members
who gave blood - you probably helped save a life!
…and this came from Ron Flug, Red Cross Regional Blood Drive Coordinator
“Congratulations on the success of the fall blood drive at Regis!
The final results were 35 units of blood collected on the goal of 30 with
five deferrals. In looking at the file, I believe that's the most units
we have ever collected at the fall blood drive!”
