FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

To know a language means hearing it, reading it, writing it and speaking it. The study of Spanish at Regis High School strives for one goal in these four areas of language development and practice: basic competency in listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

The study and practice of grammar and vocabulary form the base of this competency. A basic awareness of Hispanic and Latina cultures is interwoven in the three years of Spanish study
