APPLIED ARTS DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

The Applied Arts Department covers a variety of areas of study. The focus, however, in each course is to help the student develop skills in using a wide variety of applications.

Students study system software and application software including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and power point. Within the curriculum there is also instruction in the Career Information System, which looks at careers, job skills, college admission and scholarship applications.
