| This year, Regis marks forty-seven years of operation. I offer a heartfelt thank you to all of those families who have made the necessary commitment and sacrifice to ensure the presence of Catholic education in this community. Let us continue to offer our prayers of praise and thanksgiving, for the continued growth and success of this important mission of Catholic education. FROM THE PRINCIPAL March Madness, Indeed! The winter season finished with a tremendous series of achievements
for our students. The very next weekend saw the Regis Drama production of “Once Upon A Mattress.” This show utilized the gifts and talents of nearly thirty Regis students and three students from Stayton High School. There were four performances over the course of three days, with three “sold out” evening shows! Great job to the countless supporters of the efforts of this very talented group of young thespians. Then, on the St. Patrick’s Day I was notified
by the University of Portland that we had two students who were receiving
awards this year in their annual essay contest. The contest includes twenty-eight
other Catholic high schools, and over 100 essays to be judged. This is
the third year that Regis has submitted entries. Each year we have had
a student receive Honorable Mention. This year, Emily Perlich received
Honorable Mention and Ashley Burns received a First Place award. Congratulations
ladies for your excellent work. |
